All About the Aerolase Laser

What makes Aerolase so special?

The Aerolase laser is special for many reasons, but it can be used on any skin type! From a Fitzpatrick 1, which is light to pale white skin all the way to a 6, which is black to very dark brown skin!

Benefits to using the laser?

Our laser can target acne, acne scars, bruising, hair removal, melasma, onychomycosis (nail fungus), pigmented lesions, port wine stains & vascular malformations, pseudofolliculitis barbae (ingrown hair), psoriasis, rosacea, scar revision, skin rejuvenation, and tightening, veins (facial & leg), warts & skin tags, and wound healing.

Rejuvenation vs. Hair Removal?

The skin rejuvenation helps stimulate collagen while enhancing your skin’s overall tone and texture.

Hair removal can take anywhere from 6-12 treatments. Typically you can expect 15% hair reduction with each treatment. At the end of your treatments, you can expect up to 80% hair gone. Laser hair removal only targets hair with pigment. This means that blonde, grey, and red hair typically can not be removed. Laser hair removal is not permanent, so touch-ups can be expected.

FAQ’s:

Does it fully remove hair?

There is no laser on the market that can guarantee 100% hair removal. In fact, the FDA requires all companies to promote it as permanent hair reduction. With the Aerolase laser, we look to get a 15% reduction in hair each treatment. After your series of treatments, what should be left is the thin fine blonde hairs that the laser can not heat up hot enough (as the hair color is too light to absorb the energy from the laser)

How many treatments does it take?

It can take 6-12 treatments, but even so, we can’t guarantee 100% hair removal.

What areas can you treat with the laser?

The best thing about our laser is we can treat absolutely anything! Foot fungus- no problem, the hair on the back of your neck- we got you. Basically, we can treat anywhere and anything (except tattooed areas- but we have another option for that)

How long does it take to get a treatment?

On average most treatments are about 30 minutes. However, larger areas like leg hair removal will be longer.

How much is it?

Laser prices range from $49 to around $179, depending on the area you want to be treated.

Does it hurt?

You can expect some warmth throughout the service and occasional “hot spots,'' but overall, it’s pretty painless. Many other lasers require numbing cream.

Why is your laser different from other lasers?

Aerolase is one of the newest lasers on the market, which means it has the newest technology. The Aerolase laser has patented the 650-microsecond technology. What that means is when we fire the laser, it goes in and out of the skin in 650 microseconds. You guys are so fast that your nerves barely have a chance to recognize anything has happened, meaning you will barely feel it.
