Types of Facials at De Luxe

Hydrafacial:

Hydrafacial is a patented skin treatment that uses a three-step process to help improve your skin texture, tone, and appearance. The HydraFacial treatment starts with cleansing by removing the dead skin cells and excess sebum from the skin. Next, a mix of salicylic and glycolic acids are applied to the skin to break up any dirt and oil that's clogging pores. Then, the HydraPeel Tip is used to essentially vacuum out blackheads, dirt, oil, and impurities, while hydrating, plumping, and nourishing serums are simultaneously applied to the skin. The HydraFacial is a medical-grade resurfacing treatment.

European Facial:

This is a relaxing facial that includes double cleansing, exfoliation, and moisture to the skin. Additionally, it comes with an incredibly relaxing facial massage! In this service, We figure out what skin type you have and what your skin needs to keep it balanced.

Light Therapy Facial:

The light therapy facial adds thirty minutes of light therapy to the European facial. The light has red-light blue-light therapy that helps with premature aging and acne! For anti-aging, it signals your collagen to dramatically increase fighting those free radicals that are tearing down your collagen. For acne, it kills the bacteria in the pore causing the breakout helping in clearing the skin.

Microdermabrasion Facial:

This includes the relaxing hour-long facial with a massage. Additionally, it comes with a deeper exfoliation using a microdermabrasion machine. Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive treatment that removes built-up dead skin that makes wrinkles more prominent, Hyperpigmentation darker, as well as the increase of dead skin can cause acne. Microdermabrasion will help soften the appearance of wrinkles, pigmentation, and prevent future breakouts.

Dermaplaning:

Dermaplaning is a facial that not only exfoliates the top few layers of dead skin but also removes facial hair. Our Dermaplaning facial shaves and gently removes the top-most layer of dead skin and removes peach fuzz and facial hair. This helps products penetrate deeper and helps makeup apply more smoothly. This facial does not make hair grow back thicker or dark! This treatment is typically done monthly and takes no longer than 45 minutes. There is no downtime or special before or after instructions.

Microcurrent:

Similar to the European facial, the microcurrent treatment is for all skin types. It includes all your favorite things about the European facial while giving your skin a boost and a "natural" facelift. Microcurrent emits extremely low-voltage electrical currents, which are similar to your body's natural currents. The low-voltage electricity that is used to stimulate the facial muscles, acts as a “workout” for the face and is used to exercise the facial muscles and re-educate them. As a result, it can tighten the skin giving the face a more firm appearance. Microcurrent helps to encourage facial muscles to look more defined and target collagen development. This is known as a non-invasive facelift.

Microneedling/PRP:

Microneedling and PRP both are collagen-stimulating facials that help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, and acne scarring. They are minimally invasive and numbing cream is provided to increase the comfort of the facial.
In microneedling, a serum is used, chosen based on client concerns to address signs of premature aging, acne scarring, and other skin concerns. The serum is then micro-needled into the skin by creating small wounds that stimulate the body’s natural healing process. This triggers the production of collagen and elastin cells to help rebuild the skin's dermal structure. Rebuilding the cells this way helps minimize the appearance of wrinkles and texture irregularities.
“PRP” which stands for Platelet Rich Plasma is an injection treatment where a person’s own blood is drawn and the platelet-rich plasma is removed to be micro-needled into the skin. A fraction of the blood drawn from the individual patient is in a syringe and spun down in a special centrifuge to separate its components. The PRP is then injected into the area to be treated, resulting in new collagen beginning to develop. At the end of the treatment, redness is expected but excessive bleeding is not. Clients can expect their skin to return to normal color in 24 hours or less.
